Integration Engineer

A leading high tech organisation working within the food industry is seeking a Integration Engineer to join its team based in North Oxford. This is an excellent varied engineering opportunity which involves design and development of new innovative process plant equipment along with organising the engineering required for integration and installation of systems developed into customers sites. You need to have a mixed skillset with mechanical electrical and process related engineering knowledge as well as able to do CAD along with good practical engineering skills.

Integration Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Working within a specialised engineering team developing designing and specifying new products to unique customer requirements
  • Work within a product development engineering delivery framework to timed gateways
  • Support CAD related activities occasionally
  • Support DFMEA/risk assessments of existing and new platforms
  • Support creation of process flow diagrams and piping & instrumentation diagrams
  • Support creation of operation and control logic flow diagrams
  • Support with design calculations and equipment specification
  • Be involved in practical aspects of building initial process systems in house and at customers sites
  • Supporting test plan creation and writing of test reports
  • Investigating and troubleshooting system problems when at product launch
  • The key contact for the engineering team when at product launch

Integration Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree / HND Engineering in a relevant engineering discipline OR served an engineering apprenticeship.
  • CAD skills (Solidworks ideal)
  • A wide engineering skillset -Mechanical electrical process
  • Ability to work on own initiative good clear communicator
  • Able to visualise and understand how our process equipment and systems will work
  • Have a collaborative teamwork approach -Not afraid to get your message across
  • Good standard of technical writing and presentation of results
  • P&ID interpretation and knowledge
  • DFMEA / Risk assessment knowledge
  • UK Driving Licence
     

Role: Integration Engineer
Package: £40k - £46k 5% bonus Contributory pension up to 5% 25 days holiday (rising with service)
Hours: Mon-Fri Full time permanent
Sector: Engineering / Chemical / Manufacturing / Scientific / Environmental Science
Location: North Oxford with travel to customer sites
