A Beauty and Personal care contract laboratory is looking for a Lab Technician to join its R&D team. You will be responsible for keeping the lab and office running smoothy. Responsibilities:
- Making and filling batches of formulations in the lab.
- Measuring specifications of formulations made in the lab.
- Calibrating the pH meters and preparing fresh pH solutions.
- Helping to keep the lab clean and organised.
- Working with our Lab Manager to keep the lab and office well stocked with consumables.
- Helping to keep lab sample stock records up to date.
- Preparing and sending parcels to our clients.
- Answering the phone and receiving deliveries.
Attributes:
- Previous Lab experience (can be within a school environment)
- Science degree or strong scientific educational background (Desirable)
- Is highly organised and likes to keep things tidy.
- Has great attention to detail.
- Is confident with using computers, particularly Microsoft Office.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is reliable and responsible.
