Description

A growing diagnostics manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing Supervisor to join its team. You will supervise the ELISA plate coating and bulk reagent operation, leading a team of 2-3 technicians. To be considered, you must have previous experience operating at a supervisory level in another fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will ideally have experience, or an understanding, of ELISA manufacturing.

Job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Management of lab operation
  • Mentoring and supervising Technicians, including line management
  • Organising schedules and workloads
  • Review all Technician Output
  • Maintaining equipment and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
  • Contributing to document review, process improvement and future upscale
  • Collaborating with other departments
  • Risk and COSHH assessments
  • Perform other duties as required by the business

Qualifications:

  • Scientific based degree desirable or appropriate industrial experience.

Technical Skills and Experiences:

  • Experience in supervisory roles, ideally manufacturing
  • Experience working within a laboratory to a GMP/GLP framework
  • Strong understanding of ELISA manufacturing process
  • Equipment Implementation and troubleshooting
